Now, let's get into it. When I first started self-publishing, I noticed there were an awful lot of people on the market. Those who are doing self publishing and telling other people how exactly they can go about starting it.
One of the first things I learned was that trying to do self publishing by yourself is completely a terrible idea. You are definitely going to want to have input from people who have a clue.

So I took several courses. I read some books and I learned different things from different people. And the different courses that I took taught me a whole series of things now.
On Exposing Yourself
Sometimes, there are a lot of repetitions that goes on. I did find that an awful lot of people who are out there, they made self publishing much more complicated than it needs to be.
That is one of the reasons I'm exactly here. To break it down and make it easy. So let's get into the answers.
The first answer is he's been publishing tons of videos in the past 3 years on self-publishing on a whole variety of subjects. I can say that the videos are very positive and very informative. So it's a great place to start.
He also was a great resource who has taken on self-publishing and he's definitely worth checking out. I subscribe, I watch his channel, and I learn different things. I think the first time I ever saw it was he was dealing with no content publishing at that time.

It is an interesting area and just like me, he also likes to explore. We are doing maximize earnings and there are areas where we disagree and areas where I like to keep things even simpler. To break things down even easier but we all have our preferences.
The third answer as I told you from the beginning which is a secret, it is that it is fantastic for you as a self-publisher to expose yourself to different opinions and communities. It will let you learn as much as possible.
If you want to maximize your earnings, you should not be listening to only one person. This is something that a lot of beginners or even advanced self publishers make a mistake on.
Know The Latest Happenings
They will isolate themselves. Where perhaps you are only watching my videos or you are only watching self publishing with Dale or some of the other self publishers out there. And you want to know is this the way you should go?
Should you just listen to one person? The answer is you should be listening to all of the different people who are up-to-date. Staying in touch with the latest and greatest things that are happening in self-publishing.
The latest happenings on Amazon, Lulu, CreateSpace, Smashwords, and all of the different options. I would definitely recommend exposing or opening yourself up to great resources exactly like self publishing with Dale.

I would also recommend viewing other videos on Youtube or Podcasts in self publishing area. In fact, I really haven't found too many. I found some people that were a little bit negative but then they came up with positive advice on what you should do.
I can tell you that the earnings that I make, I did not just randomly figure it all out. It was through a whole series of courses that I have taken over the years. It had led me to understand what it takes putting on 170 books.
Seeing how to run ads and how to put them in different formats. And all of these sorts of things and breaking it down. So that has been what I found.
